Online shopping

Useful information about shopping on the internet (online shopping) focusing on cross border purchases.

Due to the cross-border nature and the evolution of the internet, which is without any doubt considerably affecting the consumers’ purchasing habits, virtual shops (such as webstores, online shops, webshops etc.) have become extremely popular in the past few years, more and more people do online shopping, or inquire information about the offers prior to shopping. Using the web makes shopping easy and swift in any hour, and we can order goods not only from Hungary but from any corner of the world. However we must be aware of the fact that besides all its conveniences the online shopping may also include risks, which shall be taken into account. The most important principle is that legislation will ensure protection of consumers in the online world, as well. Cyber consumers also have their rights.
